On September 17, 2009, Steven Singer made his debut on one of the most popular day time talk shows, Dr. Phil. Dr. Phil was “Taking it to the Streets” for his Season 8 kick off, and filmed two shows at Independence Mall. On September 18th, Dr. Phil aired his Philadelphia show across the country. During Dr. Phil’s show, an extremely cute couple Bernie and Greer, took part in a surprise engagement right on Dr. Phils stage. Bernie proposed to his now fiancé, with a 1.50 carat total weight diamond engagement ring, valued at over $10,000, courtesy of Steven Singer Jewelers. Steven was among many other Philadelphia icons on that day, including AI from the 76ers, Governor Rendell, and Pat’s and Geno’s steaks.
