On Saturday, November 12, 2012, we at Steven Singer Jewelers had the great honor and privilege of being part of the Little Smiles Ball held at the Please Touch Musuem. Raising $5,000 for the wonderful charity through our diamond raffle, proved to be more fulfilling then it once seemed.

It’s true, we’ve never sold Silver before. Remember all those radio ads telling you NOT to go to Steven Singer for Silver Jewelry? Probably not, but believe me, we remember writing them! And now, we come out with this big announcement, telling everyone we have this big fantastic new line of jewelry… Silver.

Hypocritical? Maybe. Desperate? Hardly. Smart? Exactly. It’s not that we felt the need to expand our product line. It’s not that we felt the need to compete with Tiffany’s, or Kays. It’s all about you. The consumer. Erin & Matt | Engagement Session | 03.29.10

So, it’s officially spring and in Philadelphia, spring apparently means torrential downpours for three weeks straight. Fortunately, spring also means wedding seasons and engagement shoots and this past weekend Erin, Matt and I met at the Art Museum to shoot their engagement photos. Erin and Matt are both originally from Hershey, Pa and although Matt is a Cowboys fan, we still managed to have a great time. The three of us took a walk down Boathouse Row and met a fellow named Greg who invited us inside La Salle University’s boathouse to take pictures in one of the oldest boathouses on Kelly Drive and back to the Art Museum. On September 17, 2009, Steven Singer made his debut on one of the most popular day time talk shows, Dr. Phil. Dr. Phil was “Taking it to the Streets” for his Season 8 kick off, and filmed two shows at Independence Mall. On September 18th, Dr. Phil aired his Philadelphia show across the country. During Dr. Phil’s show, an extremely cute couple Bernie and Greer, took part in a surprise engagement right on Dr. Phils stage. Bernie proposed to his now fiancé, with a 1.50 carat total weight diamond engagement ring, valued at over $10,000, courtesy of Steven Singer Jewelers. Steven was among many other Philadelphia icons on that day, including AI from the 76ers, Governor Rendell, and Pat’s and Geno’s steaks.
